Some of the best German food I've ever had. I enjoyed Keller's so much, I visited twice in the three days I was in Mannheim. The staff was exceptionally kind and patient about the language barrier. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a charming, home cooked meal!

Unfortunately, there was no space outside, but the food and the wine recommendation were excellent?. Not overlooked even as an "individual", very attentive service.

Once and never again. Were there on Saturday 05.09.2020 to 4 at 4:00 p.m. Table was reserved with a request in the beer garden in good weather. Was also taken into account. 4 p.m. I was there, registered and sat down at the table. A short time later the waitress came with the menus. Then nothing happened for a long time, after about 20 minutes the waitress finally came back to our table. So now we can finally order the drinks, we thought, no answer, the first question we were asked: how do you want to pay. So we've never seen anything like it. When that was clarified, the drinks were given up, 3 pils and 1 shandy. Even here the staff was not able to bring all the drinks to the table at once, only 2 beers were brought in advance. Then it started to rain. We kindly asked if we could have a table inside now. Reluctantly - it was raining and not too little - we were offered a table in the interior. Schwager had a patty soup with a plastic bag insert as a starter, very tasty. I had 6 Roman snails which unfortunately stood under the grill a little too long. We had let all that go through, even with the really steep prices. Then came the main course, 2 x Kurpfalzsteak with fried potatoes, 1 x roast onion with fried potatoes and 1 x roast pork with dumplings and coleslaw. And again it was not possible to bring all 4 meals to the table at the same time. First came the 2 Kurpfalzsteaks, then the waitress came to the next table, put the pork roast there, but at the next table no one had ordered the roast beef. I noticed that and reported that this is my meal. Then it turned out that this is our food. As I said, my wife had ordered roast pork with bread dumplings and coleslaw. On the plate was the roast pork and spaetzle, without the coleslaw. When we asked the waitress about it, she said, bread dumplings and coleslaw are over, but the food is cheaper. Hello, it's still possible, if I no longer have the goods I say so when ordering and not afterwards. That's a no-go. As a cook, I would be ashamed to leave the fried potatoes out of the kitchen as such, that's what I communicated. Fried potatoes have never been so bad - don't deserve the name at all - eaten. There wasn't even an apology for the whole incident, the boss - assume that it was him - wasn't interested at all. He's always in his back room, had to pass our table, and smoked nicely, that was more important to him than the well-being of his guests. After paying when leaving the restaurant, we were not even said goodbye, although we passed 3 waitresses. You can have a bad day, but then at least the service has to be good, which unfortunately wasn't the case that day. It's a shame, because we've only heard good things to date. But the store will definitely not see us anymore.

Place is so cool and peacfull . Costumers are Mostly older people . Prices are a bit expensive. İ ate a salat wiht mashtoom it was so delicious

especially for meat lovers a good address

We were there for goose food. The goose was super crunchy, red cabbage dumplings and chestnuts delicious. Service friendly and polite. 5 * is still not there, because we too often "on dry land" sat. Check it out here and there and it would be perfect.

We had a short jaunt through Germany on our travels from Brussels to Switzerland and were looking for a traditional German food experience... This restaurant fit the bill and more. We all loved our meals, large portions and excellent service! We would highly recommend.
